Mentioned by WP!

Hi!

This video seriously made my day, I've been watching WP's channel for quite a while now. He just made a video about TacO, and I'm seriously flattered :)

I also noticed a spike in questions and all around activity on the blog. If you're new to TacO and have any technical issues please first consult the FAQ/Common Problems section which will in good likelihood have an answer to your problem.

Also, since I maintain this project alone, as a hobby, please note that I may not be able to get to answer all the questions, and updates may come at a random rate when I have time and inspiration strikes.

  1. The last update for WvW was nice. Can you make the icons scale in size with how close you are to them, similar to how the other icons work? And can you change the font of the timers? Often they are quite hard to read, but they are the most important info that comes from the overlay. Thanks!

    1. Yes, it should, but it'll require windowed or windowed fullscreen mode.

But one thing: Can you add "1500" for enig mortar? More engi love :)

    1. Proper range circle configuration options are on the todo, as soon as I figure out a nice way of doing them.

  5. Is it possible to add names to random markes? So that they have a nameplate like the WvW objectives have?
And allow Markers to show a timer similar to speedmushrooms but with the normal behavior of interacting and not approaching to trigger them?

  6. The info line trembles constantly very fast as all the numbers change very quickly. That get me very dizzy. Maybe due to the tabulation? Could it be possible to stay static?

    1. The info line is basically there for debug purposes, you can turn it off :)

  7. Hi,
Is there a proper way to report a bug in TacO ?
Since the last version, each time I close the game the app just crash with a message instead of closing cleanly.
And overtime it seem to make default markers appear in the place I was just before closing the game.
